The very first novena ever prayed was by the Apostles in the upper room during the nine days between the Ascension of the Lord and the Descent of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost Sunday. You are invited to follow their example and pray a Novena to the Holy Spirit for the Seven Gifts for our Confirmation students, beginning on Sunday, May 10th and concluding on the day of their Confirmation, Monday, May 18th.
