The Knights of Columbus of St. Michael Parish, Council #5517 will honor St. Joseph, the Patron of the Universal Catholic Church with a Pilgrim Icon Prayer Service on Wednesday, May 1st at the 5:30 pm Mass followed by a Rosary and Litany in honor of the Feast Day of St. Joseph the Worker.
In preparation for the Feast Day, the Knights of Columbus Pilgrim Icon will arrive at St. Michael’s Church on Sunday April 28th and the Knights will lead the 9:30 am Mass procession with the Icon which will be placed in the Sanctuary for all to venerate.
Pope Francis said it best when he said “I commend all of you in a special way to the intercession of St. Joseph, the protector of the Holy Family of Nazareth, who is an admirable model of the manly virtues of quiet strength, integrity and fidelity which the Knights of Columbus are committed to preserving, cultivating and passing on to future generations of Catholic men”.
